Novibet officially announces the expansion of its partnership with AEL FC through a three-year naming rights agreement for the team, ushering in a new era for Larissa and its vibrant sports community.
Starting from the new season, the historic club will compete as AEL Novibet—an initiative of high symbolic and strategic importance. This collaboration is part of Novibet’s broader plan to support Greek sports, with a focus on strengthening clubs that carry strong local heritage and development potential.
The enhancement of the relationship with AEL comes as a natural evolution of the partnership launched in 2024, when Novibet actively supported the team’s journey back to the Super League. With promotion already achieved, the shared commitment now focuses on establishing AEL among the top ranks of Greek football and creating a modern football environment for Larissa.
As Christoforos Bozatzidis, Chief Marketing Officer of Novibet, stated: “After a year of meaningful collaboration with AEL FC, the decision to acquire the team’s naming rights emerged as a natural next step. For us, AEL is not just a historic club; it is a symbol of an entire city that lives and breathes football. Together, we aspire to inspire the next generation, strengthen the club’s momentum, and create long-term value for the city and its supporters.”
The new three-year agreement forms part of Novibet’s long-term strategy for sustainable investments in sports, with particular emphasis on regional communities. Supporting AEL and Larissa reflects the company’s commitment to making a tangible contribution to the advancement of Greek sports and to encouraging active youth participation at the local level.
The renaming announcement is accompanied by a comprehensive activation plan, both locally and nationally, designed to showcase the team’s new identity and further strengthen its connection with Larissa’s football community.
