Novibet delivered the new “Ioannis Konstantelias” football field to the citizens of Volos
Novibet officially handed over a fully renovated football field to the citizens of Volos yesterday, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility program Giant Heart, offering a contemporary venue for sports and youth development in the region.
This project marks the 16th sports facility delivered under the Giant Heart initiative and proudly bears the name of international football player and program ambassador, Giannis Konstantelias, as an honorary tribute to his heritage and contribution to sports.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by dozens of children and residents, who celebrated the creation of a new hub for athletic activity and inspiration for the city’s youth. The event culminated in interactive sports activities and games, with the participation of children from local academies and clubs.
The Mayor of Volos, Mr. Achilleas Beos, expressed his gratitude in a brief speech: "This facility is a true jewel, a remarkable gift from Novibet to our city. It stands as a model to be emulated, and I sincerely hope that initiatives like this will inspire our children to embrace sports and build a healthier future. It would be a true privilege for our collaboration with Novibet to continue, as they have demonstrated genuine commitment to our local community. I extend my heartfelt thanks to them."
