As part of its ongoing CSR program, Giant Heart, Novibet proudly announces its collaboration with The Hellenic Initiative (THI), supporting the THI Summer Youth Academy as a Gold Sponsor. This initiative will bring together over 100 young people aged 10–17 who are eager to grow, connect, and have fun through basketball. Special priority will be given to children and adolescents who need it most, offering them a unique life experience that will shape them both on and off the court. The Summer Youth Academy will run from June 30 to July 25, split into two sessions, and will take place at the Leonteios School facilities in Patissia. The program is organized in collaboration with Eurohoops, which is responsible for its design and implementation. With a key message “The game begins in your neighborhood”, Novibet also launches the Giant Heart Roadshow, aiming to reach even more young people and foster stronger community engagement. At the heart of this initiative is a branded van equipped with a mobile basketball hoop, which will tour key neighborhoods of Athens during the registration period. The van will make 30-minute stops at central and high-traffic areas, inviting children and parents to discover the philosophy of the Academy through interactive sports and entertainment activities. Additionally, the Giant Heart Roadshow will host special events at basketball courts that Novibet has renovated and donated to municipalities across Attica in recent years, actively advancing the program’s vision of free access to high-quality sports infrastructure for all. Open community events will be held at the following Giant Heart Courts:

• Moschato–Tavros Municipality (Metamorfoseos Street): Saturday, May 24, 18:00–21:00
• Kifisia Municipality – Workers’ Housing Area (Marinou Antypa Street): Saturday, May 31, 18:00–21:00

At these events, children and their families will be immersed in the spirit of the Summer Youth Academy through experiential games, interactive activities, and engaging presentations. These initiatives are a natural extension of the Giant Heart mission: to make sports, inspiration, and inclusion an integral part of everyday life. In recognition of World Stray Animals Day on April 4, Novibet stays true to its unwavering commitment to animal welfare through Giant Heart, its social contribution program. With a series of targeted actions in Athens and Thessaloniki, the Novibet extended vital support to animal welfare organizations, shelters, and care programs. These efforts included infrastructure improvements, as well as support for sterilization and adoption initiatives—reinforcing Novibet’s ongoing dedication to the wellbeing of stray companion animals. 'A Little Shelter' – Turning Support into Action, and Action into Impact

In partnership with the organization A Little Shelter, which had suffered significant damage due to extreme weather conditions, Novibet undertook extensive restoration works through the Giant Heart program to strengthen and enhance the shelter's infrastructure. With a focus on ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and dignity of the animals' living environment, substantial improvements were made to support the facility’s functionality and resilience against future challenges. During the visit, Novibet employees joined forces with shelter staff to design and paint a heartfelt mural in celebration of animal companionship—transforming the initiative into a celebration of creativity and compassion.

Novibet Teams Up with Aris Thessaloniki and Argos Animal Welfare Association for the Strays of Thessaloniki

Driven by a shared sense of love and respect for animals, Novibet collaborated with the Aris Thessaloniki football club and the local Argos Animal Welfare Association to implement a sterilization program focused on stray animals—particularly the cats residing at the club’s training center and surrounding areas. This initiative plays a key role in controlling the local stray population and ensuring their health and well-being.

Make it Pawsible – A Meaningful Contribution to Our Most Loyal Friends

Through the Giant Heart program, Novibet also supported the Make it Pawsible initiative, in collaboration with the football club Atromitos Athens, through a targeted donation to bolster the organization’s vital work. This support helps cover the costs of food, medical care, and general upkeep for the animals sheltered at the facility.

Since May 2021, the Giant Heart, Novibet's social responsibility initiative, has embarked on an admirable journey full of actions embodying the essence of social contribution. With a profound sense of responsibility, the Giant Heart has left its positive mark on Greek society. True to its values, it highlights the power of solidarity and love through actions focused on Sports, Society, and the Protection of Stray Animals. Sports The Giant Heart recognizes the invaluable role of sports in shaping character and strengthening community bonds. Since its inception, the initiative has renovated fifteen sports facilities, providing modern and safe spaces to support and nurture young athletes. Moreover, eleven football academies have received significant support, giving hundreds of young people the opportunity to develop their skills and pursue their dreams in sports. Additionally, the "A Ball for Every Child" program has distributed over 1,000 balls to children, filling neighborhoods and schoolyards with joy, motivation, and inspiration. Society Social contribution lies at the heart of the Giant Heart's mission, born to address the real needs of people and communities. Over four years, the initiative has implemented more than fifty social contribution actions, bringing meaningful and positive changes to vulnerable groups. At the same time, eighteen organizations, recognized for their social work, have been supported through Giant Heart’s efforts. Through collaborations with eighteen municipalities across Greece, the initiative has assisted local needs, providing support to over 10,000 individuals. Protection of Stray Animals The Giant Heart’s care extends beyond people; it also embraces our most vulnerable friends, stray animals. To date, more than 1,000 stray animals have received care, food, and protection. Additionally, fifteen special wooden shelters have been created in various cities to house and feed stray animals. With these actions, the Giant Heart demonstrates its dedication to harmonious coexistence with all living creatures, fostering a culture of responsibility and care. Since day one, the initiative has bridged the gap between community needs and the strength that emerges from collaboration. Through actions that inspire, mobilize, and empower, the Giant Heart cultivates a legacy of social solidarity that endures. Looking toward the future, and with program ambassadors Kostas Tsimikas, Giannis Konstantelias, and Thomai Vardali, Novibet is committed to strengthening and expanding the Giant Heart’s efforts. Novibet delivered two newly renovated basketball and football courts in the Kifisia Workers' Housing area in Athens, Greece. These are the 14th and 15th sports facilities reconstructed under Novibet's Giant Heart program. The basketball court renovations included the installation of an acrylic flooring base, new certified Olympic-standard basketball hoops, and a vibrant color redesign matching the Giant Heart’s theme. Adjacent to the basketball court, a brand-new football field was created in a previously unused space, bringing together two of the most beloved sports. Novibet, through its social contribution initiative, Giant Heart, is actively assisting in the multi-faceted support of those affected by the fires of August, collaborating with three recognized organizations. With a strong sense of responsibility and solidarity towards the communities impacted by the devastating fires of the summer of 2024, Novibet and Giant Heart are implementing a comprehensive humanitarian aid program, in cooperation with three significant entities. The goal of the program is the immediate relief and long-term healing of the wounds left behind by the fires, with actions aimed at supporting both citizens and animals. In collaboration with the Panhellenic Association of Volunteer Firefighters, Novibet made a significant donation for the purchase of specialized rescue equipment for the needs of the Volunteer Fire Brigade of Penteli and the implementation of training programs, aimed at enhancing the skills of volunteer firefighters in critical areas such as rope rescue and first aid. This initiative aims to strengthen the operational readiness of the volunteer firefighters, members of the Panhellenic Association of Volunteer Firefighters, and to more effectively respond to future emergencies. At the same time, through the Giant Heart #Novipet pillar, Novibet reached out to the non-profit organization Dogs' Voice, to relieve the animals affected by the recent fires. The company provided substantial financial support to cover the immediate needs of 34 animals rescued from the flames and housed in the organization's facilities. Additionally, Novibet covered the accommodation expenses for 4 animals requiring specialized care. Lastly, to offer tangible support to the fire-affected families whose homes were completely destroyed, the firefighters, and volunteers who were on the ground from the very beginning, Giant Heart collaborated with the organization Humanity Greece, contributing to the 24-hour provision and distribution of long-lasting food items and fresh meals for 240 fellow citizens in the affected areas of Rafina, the Varnava Community, Penteli, and Marathon. "Supporting vulnerable social groups and protecting the rights of stray animals are fundamental values for Novibet. Through Giant Heart, we join forces with organizations that work tirelessly to restore the areas affected by this year’s fires.
